Within the scope of EMPOWER Project, a focus group meeting with individuals with visual and hearing impairments was held on December 7, 2021. At the meeting, suggestions were received from the participants on the design and content of the ” Accessible Learning Hub with Accessible Learning Materials for Persons with Hearing and Vision Impairments ” planned to be developed within the scope of the project.
In the next phase of the project, it is planned to develop ” Accessible Learning Hub with Accessible Learning Materials for Persons with Hearing and Vision Impairments ” and make them accessible in the languages of the partner countries.
The main objective of the EMPOWER Project (2020-1-TR01-KA204-094078) is to contribute to increasing the awareness and competencies of individuals with high vulnerability to disasters, individuals with disabilities and their caregivers on disaster management. The project is supported by the European Commission through the Turkish National Agency and Istanbul Governorship is the coordinating institution of the project.
