IO2 (with caregivers)
EMPOWER Project’s pilot training was held on March 16, 2023. During the training, a presentation was made about the aims and background of the project and project results were introduced to the participants. “Training Content on Effective Disaster Management For Caregivers of Persons with Disabilities” prepared for caregivers of individuals with disabilities was practiced (12 participants: 9 females and 3 males)

The main objective of EMPOWER Project (2020-1-TR01-KA204-094078) is to increase the awareness and competencies of person with disabilities who are highly vulnerable in disasters and their caregivers on disaster management and the project is supported by the European Commission through the Turkish National Agency. The Governorship of İstanbul is the coordinator of the project.
